the gap between the #3 and #3.5 is huge! and the gap between the #3.5 and #4 is bigger as i am learning. honestly it would be awesome if ironmind could custom build a gripper to whatever percentage between the #3 and #4 that the customer wanted. such as a 3.2 or a 3.6.
i have grippers, not captains of crush. i use them and they are okay. what really kicked my grip strength up was three things: 1). holding dumbbells by the bell and walking around 2). one finger dead lifts using an olympic bar and 3). pinching a plate and walking around.
i have a 1.5, can close that a few times. also have a 3 can't get close with that one. best raw total 1850 at 181 lbs. best comp raw lifts @ 181. squat 710. bench 500. deadlift 670.
